Only looking for a mild performance boost? How about a Euro spec stock level T5 tune? This is a mostly stock Motronic 4.4 tune, from the S70 T5, which yields approximately 12psi of boost and produced 236BHP. The the speed limiter and overboost cut-offs have been removed.
This includes a M4.4 ECU, with the appropriate T5 tune loaded based on your transmission type and vehicle year. If your car originally came with M4.3 (1992-1997 850s), then the appropriate modifications to the tune will be made so that this ECU will be plug and play.
This tune is configured for use with Volvo OEM white or blue injectors, which flow 345cc at 3 bar fuel pressure. While you can run this tune with the 850’s orange injectors, swapping to blue or white injectors is recommended.
For those without an OBDII port (94 and older 850s), reading of diagnostic trouble codes using the ‘A’ socket on the diagnostic blink box will no longer function. All other diagnostic ports will still work. We offer an OBDII plug kit, which only requires the connection of 3 wires.
